Our Story:
Personal Wine began in 2000 by our CEO, Alex Andrawes. Driven by a passion for great wine and his relentless pursuit of giving the perfect gift, Alex created a business built around the gifting of wine.
The idea of personalizing wine labels was sparked after several discouraging trips down the greeting card aisle in an attempt to find the perfect card to attach to his wine gift. Frustration turned into inspiration and the concept was born - why not combine the gift card with the wine? From there, the idea became a labor of love and Alex was soon sketching out the business plans for Personal Wine on the back of a napkin at a bar, and printing wine labels at a local print shop. Finding a strong demand for his creative wine gifting designs, Alex was soon struggling to keep up with demand.
Fast forward twenty years later and Personal Wine has grown tremendously from its humble beginnings. From our headquarters in Austin, the Team at Personal Wine continues to provide keepsake custom wine gifts and drink ware, and we’ve also created buzzworthy corporate-branded wine bottles for some of the biggest companies all across the USA. Our production capacities may have changed over the years, however, the inspiration behind Personal Wine has not.
