The name Motherload originates from mining, where the "mother lode" is the principal vein of ore, and it's commonly used in oil and gas to evoke the same idea of finding a highly productive and valuable discovery. In our case, the source of great fruit from amazing vineyards, in a phenomenal vintage, producing an excellent wine, loved by all who venture to try this magical discovery. The 2023 Motherload Napa Valley Red Wine Blend is an amazing accomplishment comprised of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc, 16% Malbec, 11% Syrah, 7% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot, all originating from premium vineyards in Napa Valley. On the nose, this wine bursts with a plethora of dark red fruits such as plum, cherry, raspberry, and ripe strawberry. As for the palate, the wine is full bodied with lush fruit and rich velvety tannins. This wine pairs well with cheeses, charcuterie, and grilled meats.
