Bergstrom is a family-run American business that has become one of the most respected wineries in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The estate was started by Dr. John Bergstrom, whose Swedish roots and love for the Pacific Northwest inspired him. In 1999, John and his son, Josh, founded Bergstrom Wines. Today, Josh and his wife, Caroline, are celebrating over 25 years of growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay using biodynamic farming methods in some of the best areas of the Willamette Valley.
The 2022 Bergstrom Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is a deep ruby red color and has an expressive aroma of bright cherry, cacao nibs, and leather. On the palate, you’ll taste ripe marionberries and strawberries, which then shift to more savory flavors like dried herbs and meats. This wine is bold and structured, with a rich texture that promises it will age beautifully over time.
The 2022 Pinot Noir from the Bergstrom Vineyard has a darker ruby/magenta color and offers lush aromas of rosemary, black raspberries, and earthy, iron-rich notes, along with a hint of purple flowers. It has a silky-smooth texture, balanced acidity, and a long, elegant finish that lingers on the palate.
