Tasting Notes: With a history that dates back to the 16th century and over 100 hectares of prized vineyard holdings, Château de Beaucastel is one of the benchmark estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Year after year, the estate’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge ranks among the greatest wines produced in France, famously incorporating all 13 of the region's authorized grape varieties to achieve incredible complexity in the final blend. Beaucastel’s signature is a relatively high proportion of Mourvèdre, a rustic, thick-skinned grape that gives the wine its deep color, brooding tannins, and profound durability in the cellar.

Magnificent deep intense ruby-red color. The nose of this Beaucastel red 2019 is rich and complex, mixing superb notes of spices, fresh fruit, cocoa, and brandy. Very elegant, full-bodied, and generous on the palate, this wine offers a silky texture and powerful aromas of blackberries and noble spices. It ends with a very nice length.
