The Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolois full-bodied, well-balanced, and vibrant on the palate, with well-rounded tannins and depth. Predominantly Sangiovese with a small amount of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon The first label produced in Tenuta Sette Ponti's is an elegant wine, Crognolo, which takes its name from a wild bush, the Cornus, which grows in abundance on the estate. It is a fruity wine, emphasized by the rich scent of Sangiovese, which recalls the scent of ripe cherries and the elegance of aging in oak. Made predominantly from Sangiovese, a traditional Tuscan variety, that produces elegant and age-worthy wines, Crognolo brings together the class of Sangiovese with the complexity bestowed by the aging in oak. Pairs perfectly with full-flavored meats, game, and roasts."
